After extensive testing, the specialized Western Digital Purple series of hard drives for video surveillance systems are now recommended for use with all modern interVision DVRs.

In addition, a list of highly recommended hard drives, which were most often the cause of malfunctioning DVRs, was added.
We remind you that in most cases it is the hard drive that causes the malfunction of the video surveillance system. Therefore, in order to avoid such situations, it is recommended to use specialized hard drives that are specially designed for video surveillance systems and have a significantly longer service life.

Attention! All DVRs must be connected to stabilized power supplies, video cameras must be protected by lightning protection on the video signal and on the power line. Restored hard drives are strictly prohibited to install in the DVR!
The main reasons for the failure of the equipment: power surges in the network 220 volts, the installation of restored railway (those that are cheaper).
The warranty does not apply to power surges in the 220v network, to static discharges if a restored HDD is installed!

Before starting the process of installing equipment and laying cables at the facility, you, as the installation company, are obliged to familiarize your client with the terms of the warranty. Notify him about any faults that are guaranteed and in which cases the SC can refuse warranty repair in order to avoid possible conflict situations in the future.

What products are warranted for?

InterVision products are warranted to confirm that they are free from factory defects. The warranty is provided for a period of 2 weeks to 36 months depending on the manufacturer's service policy. The warranty period is indicated in the description of each product on our website. Confirmation of the warranty is the manufacturer's warranty card, or warranty card.

Please check the completeness and absence of defects in the product immediately upon receipt (completeness is determined by the description of the product or the manual for its use).

Can I exchange or return an item?

Yes, you can exchange or return the goods within 14 days after purchase (for an individual who purchases, orders, uses or intends to purchase or order products for personal needs that are not directly related to entrepreneurial activity or the performance of the duties of an employee). This right is guaranteed to you by the Consumer Protection Act.

Those persons and organizations purchasing products not for personal needs (persons or organizations that have a dealer discount) cannot exchange or return the goods. In accordance with the Law on Consumer Protection. Warranty obligations only.

To use this feature, please make sure that:

1. The product was not in use and has no signs of use: scratches, chips, scuffs, on the phone’s counter for no more than 5 minutes of calls, the software has not been changed, etc.;
2. The goods are fully equipped and the integrity of the packaging is not violated;
3. All labels and factory markings are saved.
4. The packaging is not damaged or wrapped with tape.
If there is a violation of one or more of the above items, the goods will not be returned.

If the goods do not work, the exchange or return of goods is carried out only if there is a conclusion from the service center authorized by the manufacturer that the operating conditions are not violated.
In what cases is the warranty not provided?

A service center may refuse warranty repair if:

the safety of warranty seals is violated;
there is mechanical or other damage that arose as a result of intentional or reckless actions of the buyer or third parties;
violated the rules of use set forth in the operational documents;
an unauthorized opening, repair was made or internal communications and components of the product were changed, the design or layout of the product was changed;
the warranty card is not filled out correctly;
the serial or IMEI number in the product memory has been changed, erased or cannot be set.
IP addresses in IP video cameras are not set to factory defaults.

Warranty does not apply to the following malfunctions:

burnt-in BNC inputs, VGA, HDMI, BNC, SATA, USB, RJ-45 outputs, network input;
wires are cut off on video cameras and power supplies;
accidental damage caused by the customer or damage resulting from neglect or use (exposure to liquids, dust, ingress of foreign objects into the enclosure, etc.);
damage due to natural disasters (natural phenomena);
damage caused by an emergency increase or decrease in voltage in the mains or improper connection to the mains;
Damage caused by defects in the system in which the product was used, or resulting from the connection and connection of the product to other products;
damage caused by improper use of the product or in violation of the operating rules;
when installing non-recommended hard drives.
Warranty does not apply to such products:

Power supplies;
Receivers or transmitters, remotes;
