The iMPAQ iQ-PIR-IN wireless motion sensor is designed to track human movement in a guarded room. The sensor ignores pets weighing up to 20 kg. The principle of operation of the sensor is based on the determination of infrared (IR) radiation. Every living thing is a source of infrared radiation. Therefore, as soon as the sensor notices it, it analyzes the mass, and if it exceeds 20 kg, sends an alarm signal to the central alarm system unit via a radio channel (without wires). Microprocessor processing of the incoming signal provides an additional check for movement and mass, to eliminate false positives from animals. The sensor works only when a person moves. For example, if an object falls in the room, or a cat runs, the sensor will not work.

The principle of operation is quite simple. In the protected area, motion sensors, door / window openings, smoke, temperature, gas, etc. are installed. When an intrusion is detected, the sensors transmit an alarm to the central unit over the air (without wires) or via wires if the sensors are wired. The central unit receives a signal from the sensors, turns on the siren, turns the wireless relay on and off, sends information to the monitoring station, calls the indicated phone numbers and sends SMS messages with alarm notifications.

The receiver for wireless sensors iQ-D-RECEIVER is designed to connect iMPAQ wireless sensors of the iQ series to any wired security panel with NC inputs. The principle of operation is very simple: iQ-D-RECEIVER is equipped with a radio channel receiver and NC transistor outputs. Using conventional wires, the outputs of the receiver are connected to the inputs of the control panel. Thus, the NC outputs of the receiver become an analog of conventional wired sensors for the inputs of the main. When the wireless sensor triggers, it sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver receives it, processes and opens the output corresponding to the sensor. The central, in turn, perceives the opening of the output of the receiver as the opening of the sensor loop and gives an alarm.
